Nothing makes me feel more ladylike than a long pleated skirt. There is something about it, I have no idea why I love them so much, but I feel quite feminine in them. I used to have quite the collection, but due to the crazy wind here, I had to give them to a better home. Delicate and ladylike are well and good unless there is insane wind around attempting to thwart your demure look with a Marilyn Monroe moment.
That being said, can we take a moment to swoon a bit over this lovely skirt from Kate Spade? It’s actually quite substantial in the weight department so it had a lovely sturdy feeling. Haha, odd combination, no?

I’m serious, this may be my favorite skirt ever. The color helps brighten up this long a ridiculous winter and I really do love the weight of the fabric. I felt very “Kate Middleton-esque” in it.
PS. Did you see the tiny red race car in one of the pictures? I had to incorporate it into a shot. It cracked me up.
