So… I’m over winter. OVER IT. I decided that I would show my affection towards Spring by wearing this bright dress and some sandals.

I love a colorful dress, but I’m not huge on floral prints. I don’t know why, I just rarely find one that I feel suits me. This dress is SUPER comfortable, machine washable AND doesn’t wrinkle. The trifecta of awesomeness. I also love that it isn’t super tight and clingy. It’s quite the modest dress, yet incredibly stylish and fun. It also comes in a blue/green/purple color as well. (I went for the full rainbow of craziness.) I love any excuse to wear these heels and thought the clutch accented them nicely. Throw on some “plumful” lipstick by MAC and I was ready to go!

Moving forward to spring and summer, I highly suggest finding dresses that are made of polyester or a jersey knit. They’re comfortable, they breathe well and they don’t wrinkle. I don’t know about you, but I HATE wearing a dress that wrinkles easily. A huge line across my hips from sitting down is NOT appealing to me. (Linen and I don’t get along.) Also, the nature of the dress allows you to dress it up with heels or wear with a cute pair of flats. I like the ability to do either.

Style Tip: If you tend to sweat a lot when you get hot, dresses with patterns and color help hide that. Just in case you have a wedding to attend and you’ll be dancing. (Or the ceremony is outside in the heat. Yuck.)

Every lady needs a comfortable, colorful and gorgeous dress. Machine washable is just a bonus. 😉 (Especially when you have a baby that likes to drool 24/7.)

Have a great Wednesday everyone!!
