IMG_8643smI love a good shift dress. I’m basically in love with dresses from Eliza J. (I’m also wearing one in this post.) They’re comfortable, machine washable, they don’t wrinkle, their sleeves aren’t so tight that they can hide flabby arms (for those of you who hate your arms) and they aren’t super tight around the belly. Essentially the BEST dress for weddings and other events where you want to look nice but not be uncomfortable. Also, the high neck makes it baby friendly- I can bend down to get him and not worry about showing too much, AND I can hold him without the fear of him yanking my neckline around. Moms, you know what I’m talking about. Sigh. The things you end up worrying about once you have a kid.

I also love the idea of a dress that I can throw in a suitcase and it won’t end up a wrinkled mess by the time I take it out again. Also, machine washable. Hellllllooooooo, that makes it SO much better. This brand also makes cute wrap dresses, maxi dresses, and more formal dresses. So they have you covered no matter what. Also, Eliza J also makes dresses in plus sizes, so EVERYONE can find something they love.

This post seems sponsored, but trust me, it’s not. I just like these dresses a LOT.

Go try some on. Or if you don’t have a Nordstrom around, order it online. Free shipping and returns. You can ship it to you, try it on, and ship it back if you don’t like it. Brilliant!

Are you a fan of a shift dress? Do you have a favorite brand?
