I’ll be the first to confess that in the summer I tend to gravitate to a nude lip. I’ve found my holy grail nude lip from NARS in the color Cruising, and I wear the heck out of it all summer long. In the fall, I love to be a bit more adventurous and thought I’d share my favorite colors:

**Disclaimer, these were shot with my iPhone, no time to get the DSLR set up and zero time to edit, so this is just…. me, sans any digital improvements. 😉

First up: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in HoneyIMG_6877My go-to daily color AND it’s drugstore! This color is flattering on any skin tone and I honestly think every woman should own it.

Favorite Gloss: Buxom Full-Bodied Lip Gloss in Va Va VoomIMG_6881I am in love with this beautiful berry shade of gloss. It looks great on any of the lipsticks I’ve shown or just worn on its own.

Berry without Gloss: l’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Balm in Plush PlumIMG_6886This is a favorite when I want a sheer berry color without the fuss of gloss.

Newest to the group: NARS Audacious Lip Color in the shade JulietteIMG_6887DYING over how fun this shade is! It’s an unexpected orange and I’m digging it!

RED. This is my BRIGHT red in my collection. MAC Lustre 5-Alarm (They no longer make it. Ugh)IMG_6893It’s very much a statement red. I wear this to events or just on days when I need a pick-me-up.

My Lips But Darker: MAC Viva Galm V – A45 IMG_6896-2This is a beautiful alternative to a nude, but gives a bit more color. Perfect for fall.

The Cult Classic: Plumful from MAC. IMG_6903You tubers and beauty bloggers swear by this berry colored lipstick. It’s pretty, and I love it.

You’ll notice an extra swatch on my arm- the fourth from the left. It’s actually a Clinique Chubby Stick in the shade Mega Melon, I just received it in my Birchbox a day ago, so it’s not quite a favorite yet, but pretty close. So it gets an honorable mention with the group. You’ll also notice no grey or black or deep violet shades. I’m pale enough as is, guys. No need to point out how fair I am. Darker colors tend to pull color from the rest of my face and I would prefer color focus stay on my cheeks and eyes. 😉

What do you guys think? Have a favorite of the ones listed above? Any I should try? Are you as excited about fall makeup as I am???
