I’ve been asked by so many people what I think about these clothing subscription services, so I thought I would do a review for you guys. Here’s the full review:

Disclaimer: I wasn’t compensated by either company, all opinions are my own. (Haha, in case my facial expressions aren’t explanatory enough. 😉 ) All pics are from my TrendSend boxes. The last one was so ludicrous, I didn’t even take pictures. Also, they mixed up half of my third box with someone else’s and sent me a CRAZY boho-chic box. AND they kept sending my jeans a size too big. On my profile it always lists my correct size. No idea what was going on there.

Box One: Ok, $50 for distressed t-shirts with phrases on them? Nope. Camo jacket? Not my style. Plaid top- a bit too flowy and I don’t love the hem. The tank top gets a: “I can’t even.” There wasn’t really anything in this box I liked.

Look closely. I have a little duck tail. That reminds me of The Hunger Games. Anyone get the reference?

Short version:

There are pros and cons to both. I think the vast majority of the items in BOTH boxes are too expensive, and I don’t love the $20 fee/credit towards an item in Stitch Fix. BUT, if you have the money and you have zero time to shop, they’re a great service. In the world of a $5 daily coffee, I’m sure this is justifiable for many. I’m just too much of a bargain hunter for the price. 😉 My last box was over $1,000 worth of clothes. Um… no.

I helped several friends with their Stitch Fix boxes, so although I didn’t do it personally, I did get to witness what the resulting box looked like once we filled out all of the questions. Some were happy, some were disappointed with the price point.

Well, I hope this answered any questions you might have about these two subscription boxes! I review the guy’s version, Bombfell, on Friday. Spoiler alert: they killed it! 🙂

What do you guys think? Have you tried either of these services? Did you like them?
