Friday Favorites

So, my kid is growing up too fast. This weekend we’re getting him his first “big boy” bed and thanks to advice from you all, we’re opting for a twin sized bed since Alexander is gigantic. Pre-School starts in May for him and we’re starting potty training soon. It’s so hard as a parent to not play the comparison game when it comes to milestones, so we’ve just done what works for us. Since he doesn’t have any other siblings to force us to push potty training earlier, we just haven’t. He also seems minimally interested in it, and I’m just not messing with it until I need to. That being said, now we’re heading into all of that. Say prayers for my sanity.

THIS WEBSITE IS AMAZING! I absolutely love that this allows kids to “design” their own clothes. A fantastic idea and I adore how it spurs creativity in children! They also make matching clothes for dolls so they can have their own mini me or they come in adult sizes!! Brilliant!

Spring is almost here and these are my favorite drugstore lipstick/balms. They are from L’Oreal and they have been my go-to for 3 years now. (Caring Coral and Rose Elixir are my favorite shades.)

I am loving this “mini” t-shirt for Alexander and I think I need to get it for him.

My closet is about to get even more organized because I have discovered these amazing shoe drawers!!

April is my birthday month (yes, you heard me right) so I’m debating getting this shirt to wear all month. 🙂 🙂 🙂

So we’ll be putting together a bed for Alexander this weekend. EEK!!!!
