Alright, this weekend snuck up on my and I hadn’t had the chance to start my Friday Favorites for you yet! Whoops! I would have skipped it, but I have so many things I’ve found recently that I wanted to share here in my Tuesday Favorites. 😉 (Better late than never!)
Also, yesterday was Easter and if you haven’t seen my post, it’s here. I did NOT wear the Scotch Guard dress, but I did, however, burn half of the asparagus I was taking over to my parent’s house because I was dealing with screamy toddler instead of watching the stove. Legitimately, this is why I crock pot, internet. Because, toddler.
This is the best travel clothes steamer I have ever found. It heats up in under a minute and can do 2 full dresses or 4 shirts in one go. I will never leave home without it. No really, I’m insanely impressed with it. Small but mighty!
I tried this nude lipstick set from Sephora and I found some favorites within! This lipgloss in White Russian is beautiful. If you aren’t a fan of a light nude lip color (some wash me out) this liquid lip in Queen B is a bit darker, but looks wonderful on many skin tones. I layered that under the gloss for my Easter look.
Wondering what to do with all of that leftover Easter candy? I’m going to make some of these sweets with them. (And then promptly send them to work with Ian so I don’t eat the entire pan myself.)
I’ve always been a fan of monogramming and initial jewelry and this James Avery ring is no different. You can get it in your initial, your child (or children- they’re stackable) or husband. This is a perfect bridesmaid gift, a gift for a best friend, or even a gift on mother’s day for your mom! (Or send this link to your husband and make HIM get you this for mother’s day.) Wink, wink.
Lancome sent me some goodies this past week and although I haven’t had the chance to try the sunscreen or the facial peel, this lipstick is GORGEOUS. It comes in a cute shaker container and you use the foam tip to apply the color. It was long lasting, light, and did not dry my lips out. (I have the shade Pink Power and that sucker is bright. I love it.)
I’ve worn these festival inspired flat sandals all over the place this week and they’re really cute. I got tons of compliments about them, and you can see why! They’re so fun and only $30! (The pictures online don’t do it justice. Way brighter.)
Spring has sprung and I always get in the decorating mood this time of year. I like to clean, organize, and refresh my house with fun colors. I can’t seem to find pillows in the colors I want, so I may just make some pillowcases. And by make, I mean buy the fabric and then bribe someone I know with baked goods to make them for me. LOL! Y’all, I cannot sew. AT ALL.
I hope your Easter was lovely and fun! See you tomorrow!
