Hello! Happy Friday friends!
This week I’m pretty excited to share the choices I’ve found for you. This Friday Favorites should be titled: “every woman needs…”
I start out with these light blue suede scalloped flats I’m wearing above. They are INSANELY soft and cushy. Hands down the cutest and most comfortable flats I’ve ever owned. BUY. THESE. FLATS. Trust me. They’re under $50 and come in 6 colors. I’m highly obsessed.
I’ve found the PERFECT jean shorts. Not too short, not too long, absolutely perfect! I’ve worn these non-stop since I got them last week and they’re only $35. Yes. I actually sized up because I wanted mine a bit looser, but you don’t have to! You need these in your life because they’re modest enough to not feel like everything is hanging out- but not quite a Burmuda short.
This tiny blue crossbody satchel is almost a perfect match to the shoes above! It’s only $23 and is the perfect option if you want to grab a cute (but much smaller) bag if you just need keys, wallet, and your phone. It also comes in many colors and a larger size if you want to replace your daily handbag.
This hat is my go-to when I want to get some more sun protection, cover up pool hair, or generally look a bit more stylish. It’s also only $25, so it doesn’t break the bank. (I can’t justify expensive hats… I don’t know.)
If you need one cute pair of stud earrings- get these. At only $12, it makes it easy to add these to your collection. I wear these more often than not and I purchased them in gold. They also have silver and rose gold!
Ok, now on to food! I tried this lemony pasta with garlic and capers last week and LOVED IT! I ate half of it right on the spot, and reheated the second half the next day for lunch! It’s a wonderful option for Meatless Monday or a quick meal if you’re scouring your pantry for something different to eat. (I also looooove capers, so it’s a lighter version of chicken piccata.)
My sister’s husband made this Pioneer Woman salsa recipe and I LITERALLY ate half the jar. By myself. In one sitting. I’d feel worse about it, but it’s too good to feel shame. (Not shame that I ate it all, I just felt bad that Ian didn’t get much.) Also, this post by the Pioneer Woman is classic Ree Drummond. (That’s her name.) It cracks me up. I love her so.
I’m getting super excited for the 4th of July! Every year my extended family gets together out at my great aunt’s house in the country and we shoot off a LOT of fireworks. Last year Alexander was a bit young for it, but hopefully this year will be fun for him! These cute versions of rice crispy treats look cute and tasty!
Ok, that’s all for today! I started filming tutorials again this week- so hopefully I will have some videos up for you soon! Have a great weekend!
