One of my favorite prints over the past decade (besides stripes, obviously) is gingham. It was originally created in Europe in the 17th century, but it still feels modern and fresh. When I saw this dress from the Gal Meets Glam collection, I knew I had to have it.

It checks all of my boxes when it comes to a spring and summer dress. It has a high neckline so I can comfortably play with Alexander. It is a light fabric so it feels breezy when the temperatures rise and it becomes sweltering outside. There are even pockets (swoon), but my favorite feature is actually the skirt. The construction and shape of the skirt make it near impossible to blow up in the wind and that, dear friends, is a necessity in my world. The winds were upward of 30+ mph while we were shooting this and I stayed where it was supposed to.

I adore this dress and you should expect to see it on repeat this summer- to church, bbq’s, date night, etc. It’s so versatile and CUTE. I love it so very much! The rest of the dresses in her new collection are adorable, this was just my favorite!

And now we link up!!

Our favorites last week from our floral link up are Andrea from Living on Cloud Nine and EE from Sparkle and Slippers! Thanks for linking up ladies!!
