I love lip products. Maybe a bit too much at times. So when I get questions like “what’s your favorite lip product of all time?” I can’t quite answer because there are so many. Don’t believe me? What you see pictured above is what is currently in my purse as we speak.

I have a problem.

In my defense, I don’t really change up my makeup all that often. Not that I can’t, I just typically opt for a neutral face and play up the lips when I want a bit of glam. That leads me to my favorite products for summer. All will stay in my purse until September when I will switch out colors and products for more fall-suited shades.

Here is my comprehensive guide to summer lips listing all products below and why I love them.

Clarins Lip Oil in Raspberry – Most hydrating lip product ever. I adore this and want to get more in different colors. Despite the bright pink hue, the color is basically clear once on the lips. Highly, highly recommend.

Fresh Sugar Lip Balm in Rosé – Best lip balm known to man. I have one in my purse 365 days a year and the clear version on my nightstand. I haven’t gone one night in two years without putting it on before my head hits the pillow. No chapped lips ever.

Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain in Honey – a staple in my makeup arsenal for 6 years. I actually have two in my purse currently (just in case).

Dior Lip Glow in Lilac and Berry – A bit pricey, but so worth it. I also own the pink shade, but I’m ‘meh’ about it.

Clinique Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony – such a great bright color for people that like lip balm, but want a bit more color. Think: sheer fuschia.

Too Face Melted Lipstick in Melted Peony – a matte lipstick that I like to use as a base under a lip gloss.

Buxom Lip Gloss in Dolly – I love this colored gloss! It tops every lipstick I wear when I want a bit of shine. It’s supposed to plump your lips. It doesn’t. At least not enough to be noticeable.

NARS Audacious Lipstick in Natalie – beautiful, long wear color in a bright and bold hue. It’s a “watermelon” looking shade.

Bite Beauty Lipstick in Fig – The most flattering “every day” lip color.

NARS Lip Crayon in Let’s Go Crazy – once again a bright wash of color in a fun fuschia! (It’s my favorite!)

Urban Decay Lipstick in the color Backtalk – I get compliments on this everytime I wear it. If it’s too dark for you- apply a bit, blot it off and add a light gloss (try the Buxom) over the top.

Lastly, the newest addition to the group is the cult-favorite Charlotte Tilbury lipstick and liner in the shade Pillow Talk. So far, It’s not worth the money, but I’ll keep trying it.
