Fall is HERE and last weekend I spent the day shopping at the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City and I’m here to share my finds and offer some tips on how to incorporate these trends into your wardrobe!

I love this look from BLDWN Market- there are so many great trends combined in one look. First, let’s talk about this gorgeous color block coat. The sleeves and lapel are fantastic colors that compliment the base grey of the coat. I ADORED this leopard print turtleneck and the split hem on these jeans. Paired with a very on-trend bucket bag to pull the entire look together.

Swoon. I have all of the heart eyes for this jumpsuit. The trend you will see this fall is suede and faux leather everywhere. This look is incredibly comfortable (so stretchy!!) and I think Anthropologie hit it out of the park with this piece. Also, berets. Give me all of the berets.

Add a cute cropped jacket to make it more office appropriate and add either flats or pumps to finish off the look. Although you can make the decision about whether you’re a beret person or not. (I obviously have decided I am.)

Oh, J. Crew. You know the way to my heart. There are several trends I put together into one outfit to demonstrate how to mix prints and trends. The leopard pumps are a fantastic example of how to add a bit of animal print to a look without going too crazy. Technically leopard is considered a “neutral” so I had no reservations pairing it with this striped tee. Tweed is making a comeback and this green tweed blazer is a favorite of mine! It would also look lovely over a dress or with a neck-tie blouse.

This look from Madewell is probably my favorite. The booties and leather jacket really add some substance to this adorable and flowy dress. A perfect date night look or even heading out with your girlfriends. Florals are still in for fall, so look for some in Autumn hues.

It was a perfect and lovely Sunday and a really easy drive from Wichita to KC to shop and have a “day date” with Ian. The Plaza has always held such a special place in my heart because I would take trips up to shop with my mom as a child and I love getting to share that with my family now.
